LIKES:
DISLIKES:
STRENGTHS: caring, analytical, bold, brave, empathetic
WEAKNESSES: stubborn, overprotective, loves power, ADHD, dyslexic
DREAMS: to survive till adulthood, to keep the camp and her friends safe, to have a family of her own one day
FEARS: dying, losing her friends, being alone
FATAL FLAW: her protective nature
PREFERED WEAPON: sword & shield
ABILITIES: can manipulate lightning, the wind, can send jolts of lightning through people, can communicate with anything that flies (except pegasi), like other Zeus children
ANYTHING ELSE: Stubborn: Bella is stubborn as a horse. She does not like to be wrong. It is just not an option for her to be wrong. She is set in her beliefs and fights for what she thinks is right. She's got a good head on her shoulders, but to her being wrong is a sign of weakness.
Impulsive: Bella very rarely thinks about what she does before she does it. She usually just has a vague general idea of what she wants to do and she then just executes it, no planning involved of any sort. That could be a fatal flaw of hers, since impulsive people do not think they usually run into a situation and most of the time they get hurt-or killed. Somehow Bells avoids that fate right in the middle of her decision-if she's in the middle of a fight with someone, then she'll start thinking about the consequences. Not always fun. This gets her into some trouble with her father, but since she is the baby he isn't too hard on her.
Hard-headed: Along with her stubbornness, Izzy is very hard-headed. She does not listen to others around her and she does not like taking direction if it is something she is not in the mood to do at the moment. This causes trouble at school and at home, but her sly personality usually gets her out of trouble somehow. It is kind of funny how life works out that way.
Caring: Isabella cares so much for her friends and family she would die for them. When she first meets someone, she'll be off-hand-ish, but over time she will grow to love them. She puts other people's needs before her own-which isn't always a good thing-and will stop at nothing to make sure that person is happy before she goes to make herself happy. She is very loyal, defending a friend in need when the situation calls for it.
Loving: Bella is a very loving person. She has got a big heart and it sometimes gets her into trouble, but it shows that she has the ability to feel in the first place. Bella's actions are based on how to keep the people she loves happy. She just doesn't like letting the softer sides of her personality show.
Brave: Bella is a tough cookie with a good amount of courage. It usually takes people off guard when she shows this side of her personality, since she is generally so friendly and chatty, but she can stand up for herself and others just as well as people much older and bigger then herself. She is very loyal to her friends, and as such, is willing to do anything for them if they need her help. Her ability and capacity for courage is often surprising to those who don’t know her well, as she doesn’t exactly appear to be much of a threat.
Closed-off: Bella isn't one to let her true feelings show to strangers. She doesn't like strange people when first meeting them. She's had trust issues ever since she was a child when people she ended up being friends with turned into monsters. Bella feels that her feelings being shown would be another weakness for someone to come in and kill her or her friends and family so she closes herself off to prevent losing anyone else she cares for.
Easily Angered: Bella has a fiery temper, much like her father, and has been known to strike someone with a lightning bolt when they really piss her off. If she's only moderately annoyed with someone she'll spark up and become like a lightning rod that had been electrocuted. Her powers kick in when she really doesn't want them to, and has been known to shock herself when in the pool or showering or doing anything that involves water. Rarely does she shock herself when it's raining, but when it's a torrential downpour, she can't help it. Her powers are most of her reason to be annoyed, but they come in handy when dealing with people. She doesn't have much patience for people, especially because of her ADD, and when someone is beating around the bush or just doing something to avoid the topic it makes her mad enough to lash out. Bella's mother always taught her to stand up for herself and not let anyone step all over her (a mindset her father sometimes adopted at times), and as a result Bella doesn't control her anger so well. whatever's up there.
WHERE'S YOUR GABLE
YOUR JURY
OLYMPIAN PARENT: Zeus
MOTHER/FATHER: Molly Quinn; James Reed (adoptive/step father)
SIBLINGS: Daniel Reed (Adoptive brother)
PETS: orange tabby kitten named Oliver
HISTORY: Isabella Elizabeth Quinn was born on May 2, to Molly Quinn and the King of the Gods, Zeus. Since she was born on that part of the month, she is a Taurus, thus giving her a reason for her stubborn behavior. Isabella was around 2 years old when Zeus left, realizing how "dangerous" it was to stay with his family and when he saw it was affecting his brother, Poseidon, he passed the law that gods should not have contact with their offspring. That was hard on both Bella and her mother, especially since Zeus used to come around all the time and then he suddenly left with no word as to why.
Bella grew up with her mother in a small apartment in New Jersey by the shore. When she was around three years old, her mother set up a play date for Bella with the little boy next door who was only a year older than her. The children immediately became attached to each other and soon became best friends, never leaving each other's side unless they absolutely had to. When she turned eleven, her powers started to flare up, and Molly knew her daughter would not be safe with her any longer, so they fled from New Jersey. Bella was taken to Camp Half-Blood by her mother, after a lot of monsters were sent by Hera to try and kill Zeus's offspring, where she learned to fight and defend herself-thus becoming one of the best students in the camp (at least, in her opinion). While at the camp, she met a fellow demigod that seemed very familiar. It was Marcus! The boy from next door and her best friend. Marcus had been a great friend to Bella in New Jersey, but when her powers flared up, she believed she had left him behind. It turns out about a week after she was being tracked down for her powers, Marcus was revealed to be a son of Ares. Bella had never been happier to see someone from her old life, secretly developing feelings for Marcus over the years.
Percy arrived at camp after Bella and she decided to seek him out when she heard about the other child of the Big Three. Percy was a son of Poseidon, and therefore that made him closer to her than any child of Hades could be since Zeus and Poseidon were closer than Zeus and Hades were. Even though Bella and Percy's fathers don't get along, she attempted to establish a relationship with her cousin. Bella helped Percy whenever she could with anything he'd need, if he needed it, and only did it if she knew he wouldn't know it was her. She was never a fan of Thalia, she saw the other girl as a threat to her cousin and shouldn't be trusted so she never really tried to bond with her.

ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE:
The Xavier institute was very different from the Baxter Building, but Sue liked it. The fact that their facilities are always stocked up with everything she will ever need for lab work and the fact that Beast knows well enough to have Reed be sent on a wild goose chase when looking for her really brightened up her day. Today she was helping Jean with the monthly inspections of the population, and unfortunately for Suzie she ended up with the Avengers as her focus group. Already Thor has declared that she has no idea what she is doing and had no right to be touching the son of Odin, Iron Man hit on her while Pepper Potts smacked him around for doing so, Hawkeye just grumbled a bit, and Black Widow was pretty nice but she was antsy. The Hulk was the one who caused her the most trouble, but she came away with a few bruises forming regardless. Thankfully she was on her last Avenger, Captain America a.k.a. Steven Rogers, and she could take a well deserved nap. Beast was looking over the X-Factor while Jean had the X-Men, so she had an examination room to herself, but she hoped that Beast would not have to be called in for Steven. Suzie would like to avoid collecting more bruises than she already had.
Suzie has known Steven for awhile now, the teams being assembled under Charles Xavier awhile back made everyone get acquainted, and Susan would have to admit (not out loud, of course) she was rather fond of the Captain. Sure, he was awkward and did not know which way was up, but can you really blame him? He was born in 1921 and he had been in suspended animation for over 70 years! That constitutes a little bit of slack when it comes to his social skills. Regardless, Steven Rogers was probably the only man who was still chivalrous. With Steven, chivalry isn't dead, and that is a rare thing. Susan had to observe him during a sleep study and she heard him say "Peggy" a few times, and it made her curious so she looked the woman up. Apparently Agent Peggy Carter was currently about 90 years old and in a rest home somewhere in New York or England or something, but she never forgot Steven.
A pang of jealousy struck the blonde woman as Susan thought of the british brunette. Susan had seen Agent Carter's file. She had been a beautiful woman. It was no wonder Steven was so in love with her. Susan could not compete. A little blonde girl from New York could not possibly measure up to a voluptuous British brunette from London or wherever she was from. Not even close. Susan soon pulled out Steven's file and smiled at the picture of him from before the experiment that made him tall and muscular. He had been a rather small man in his lifetime, but Suzie liked him either way. He was still Steven, regardless of his height and body structure. He was still the same caring, loving man he was today, and that is all that mattered. As long as Steven stayed his sweet self, Susan was happy.
The blonde's ears perked up at the sound of the door sliding open, obviously meaning that Steven had entered, and she did not look up from the file before her. "I'll need for you to take off your shirt and put it on the table, then sit on the examination chair please Steven," she said, making sure she was focusing on the file in front of her so that Steven could have some privacy while changing. It was only polite. She had been raised correctly despite her family problems growing up. Shocking, ain't it?
After she heard Steven do as he was asked, the blonde soon turned around and placed the file on the table where his shirt now resided. Pulling the stethoscope to her ears and placing the cold metal on his chest she listened to his heartbeat as she started on the usual series of questions.Things like, "how are you feeling today?" and "did you have breakfast this morning?" were asked, along with "have you been feeling ill lately? Have you gotten into any fights?" and things like that soon followed. It didn't help that Susan was staring at his chest, but soon she snapped out of it and continued on with her questions. Hopefully he couldn't distract her much longer.
