"Once upon a time, there was a young man by the name of Percy Jackson. He was the born to a woman named Sally Jackson, an aspiring writer from New York City, and Poseidon, God of the Seas, Earthquakes, and Storms, on August 18th. It wasn't until his twelfth year of life, however, until he knew this to be true. Since then, he has embraced himself of being a demigod, a hero to the Gods, and one who plays arguably the largest and most important role of his generation.
His battle techniques aren't very eclectic, but he excels at what he does. With his sword, Riptide, Percy has become an excellent swordsman. Along with that hand combat ability, the son of Poseidon is very adept at Hydrokinesis, with flairs for sailing, Aerokinesis, Cyrokinesis, heat resistance, and even the potential to invoke Geokinesis. All of these gifts are directly from his father. Perhaps his greatest strength in battle of all, though, resides in his pathological ability to be a leader, and his loyalty infuses him with adrenaline that enhances his fighting when a loved one is in danger.
Over the past five years, this young man has grown magnanimously. When he began, his doubt was great and his accomplishments few. He considered himself a child of few talents, and far too many faults. His ADHD, his dyslexia, all of which now are considered some of his greatest strengths. Percy has developed into a man of great leadership abilities, rising to the status of Praetorship of the Twelfth Legion within a week. Along with his natural ability to lead, he is fiercely loyal, to the point of it being his undeniable fatal flaw. While his standard of friendship is higher than most, once reached he will literally do anything to save or protect a friend. The son of Poseidon is severely passionate about his beliefs and will argue them endlessly to support his point. This is what makes him a phenomenal hero, his unwavering focus in supporting and fighting for the Gods.
His journeys to becoming the man he is now were not simple. After an encounter and defeat of a Minotaur, Percy found himself in Camp Half-Blood, a Greek camp for demigods to train and be safe. Before he could even grasp what was happening, he, along with his best friend/Satyr protector Grover and new friend Annabeth, was sent on a quest, a mission to find and return Zeus's Master Bolt. This journey took him to a fight with the Gorgon Medusa, the Chimera and mother of all Monsters, Procrustes, as well as the Furies. All these battles led up to an encounter with Hades, which results in a battle with Ares that he manages to win. After returning the Master Bolt, Percy is heralded, but his life as a hero has only just begun.
The next year, Percy befriends an awkward homeless boy who ends up being his half-brother, a Cyclops who is the son of Poseidon as well, Tyson. The two fight off a group of Giants at their school before embarking toward Camp Half-Blood, where the guardian tree of Thalia has been poisoned, as well as the disappearance of Grover. Percy and Annabeth, without permission, engage themselves on a mission to find Grover and the Golden Fleece to save the camp. They traverse the Sea of Monsters and face the threats of Scylla, the Sirens, and the Cyclops Polyphemus in order to return to their home. After the Fleece is placed on the tree, a surprise turns the camp. The tree, which had become the guardian of the camp from a daughter of Zeus, Thalia, just before her death, was healed so much so that Thalia was brought back to life.
Grover calls upon the help of Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia the beginning of the next summer to "recruit" two new powerful demigods, the di Angelos. During a battle against Dr. Thorn, the Hunters of Artemis show up, but Annabeth is captured. Apollo appears to take all the demigods back to Camp Half-Blood, but Percy is distraught over Annabeth. It was discovered that the monster was working for the Titan Lord Kronos, and Luke, a former friend who was corrupted by the Titans. A new prophecy and quest is issued, and a group of five including hunters and Bianca di Angelo depart to rescue the missing Artemis, and subsequently Annabeth. Their journey takes them to Hephaestus's junk yard, where Bianca is lost to death by a rogue machine, and then to San Francisco where the Titan Atlas is trapping Artemis. In a battle, Percy takes on the weight of the sky from Artemis so she can battle Atlas and force him back into his punishment, but the lead Hunter, Zoë is killed in battle. Luke is assumed to be killed after a far drop, however was rescued and disappeared with the help of Kronos.
At the beginning of the following summer, Percy is at a new school orientation when he recognizes a girl he met two years prior named Rachel Dare, who can see through the Mist. The two end up being accosted and attacked by cheerleader Empousai. He manages to defeat them, but sets the school on fire in the process and makes away with Annabeth to Half-Blood. A new issue is presented due to the discovery of an entrance to Daedalus's Labyrinth, because it is assumed that Luke along with his army of monsters are planning to find Ariadne's String to find their way through the maze to invade. In the Labyrinth, Annabeth, Grover, Tyson, and Percy encounter Nico di Angelo, still angry after the death of his sister, along with the ghost of King Minos who is manipulating him severely. Tyson and Grover separate in an attempt to find Pan, the God of the Wild. After a request set forth by Hephaestus to see who has been using one of his workshops, Annabeth and Percy are separated, after Percy fights Telekhines and explodes the mountain, plummeting him all the way to Calypso's Island. She nurses him back to health but ultimately he decides he cannot stay, and returns to camp. Upon his return, he realizes that Rachel Dare is the one he needs to guide them through the Labyrinth. She leads them to Daedulus, who was disguised as the new Camp Activities Director, in his workshop. Nico joins them there in the custody of monsters, and after a battle, Percy, Rachel, Annabeth, and Nico escape. Percy then witnesses the wake of Kronos in Luke's body, and the four escape again. They enter the Labyrinth again and find Tyson and Grover, then the six find Pan and watch him fade completely, Grover given the task of spreading the word. Back at camp, Luke's army comes through Zeus's Fist, the entrance, and a battle ensues. Grover uses the scream of Pan to cause the monsters to retreat, ultimately buying them more time in the war.
The following summer, everything culminates to the second Titan War. Percy and Charles Beckendorf manage to blow up the ship housing Luke's army, at the cost of the son of Hephaestus. Percy finds himself at Poseidon's Palace, that is in poor shape due to a fight against the former rule of the ocean, the Titan Oceanus. After much preparation, Nico and Percy decided to bathe Percy in the River Styx, giving him near invulnerability and the curse of Achilles. Typhon, a terrible monster, awakes and it takes all the Gods to fight him, leaving Hestia, Goddess of the Heath, behind to talk to Percy. Ultimately, Camp Half-Blood is narrowly able to fight back Luke's Army to protect New York City and the home of Mount Olympus. However, Kronos is able to get into Olympus in order to destroy the seats and representations of the power of the Gods. In a last moment, Luke gains control over his body and uses the dagger he gifted Annabeth so many years ago to sacrifice himself and prevent Kronos from victory. After, Percy is offered immortality by the Gods, but refuses, and instead asks for recognition of all the Gods and Goddesses at Camp Half-Blood, and that the gods claim their children by 13 years old. By the end, he and Annabeth have revealed their feelings for each other and begin dating.
Percy awakes after eight months, without remembering anything about himself. He is taken in by the Wolf Goddess Lupa and trained again, then sent to find something in the San Francisco Bay. He ends up at a camp called Camp Jupiter, an entire Roman civilization hidden in the valley. He befriends two demigods, Hazel Levesque and Frank Zhang, and is placed into the Fifth Cohort after being "approved" by Octavian. After Hazel, Frank, and Percy end up winning the battle game, Ares appears, claims Frank as his child, and decrees a quest for the three of them. During the quest, Percy encounters Iris, Goddess of Messages and Rainbows, and then Phineas. During his encounter with Phineas, he plays on the Earth Goddess and ultimate threat Gaea and drinks the Gorgon blood that begins to heal is memory. The three and their new companion Ella, a Harpy, travel to the domain of the Amazons to request the help of Hylla, sister of Reyan, the praetor of Camp Jupiter. They are captured but aided in their release by Hylla, who is the Queen, and make out with a chariot and the fastest horse alive, Arion, who Hazel rides expertly. They travel all the way north to Alcyoneus, the Giant to oppose Hades. They manage to defeat him and free Thanatos, and then travel all the way back to Camp Jupiter with Imperial Gold and the eagle, and ultimately defeating Polybotes, the Giant to oppose Poseidon, and his army. Percy is elected Praetor alongside Reyna, and his memory is fully restored.
Now, with his memory of Camp Half-Blood established, he was able to smooth out, as much as possible, the arrival of his former camp on Argo II. He has been reunited with Annabeth and his old friends, and has attempted to assimilate them into his new camp and friends. It is established that the Great Prophecy, the Prophecy of Seven, involves Percy, Jason, Annabeth, Leo, Piper, Hazel, and Frank, and that they will have to go to the homelands of the Gods to ultimately stop Gaea. But now, all Percy wants is to convince the Romans and Greeks that they can coexist successfully."
hey, so i'm NICK. i've been roleplaying for THREE OR FOUR YEARS NOW now. as well as this character, i also play formerly ANDREW SHAW and futurely APOLLO. you can reach me by pm is fine if you need me for anything. i found made up stories like SON OF NEPTUNE and i'm pretty glad i did. here's an example of mah skillz. (:Ever since the "merge", Andrew had been seeing so many new people, the old faces began to blend in. Less and less often did the son of Poseidon run into old friends of his, making the friendships mild at best. In his pseudo depression, that was the last thing he needed. So, he decided to plan to meet up with friends. One in particular was the most important to him. That was Palmer Canton. She was a daughter of Apollo, one who had only been at camp a short time, but they had become pretty good friends in that time. He had left a note for her at her cabin, and came out to the Aqueduct to wait for her.
With all the hustle and bustle around the camp, it was nice taking a step back and enjoying the view of the rest of the world. It was hard to believe that the Earth was literally against them, and that within a few months to a year, everything could be devastated. It was even harder to believe that in the face of all that, Andrew still only cared about so little. With the water beneath him, Andy began to manipulate waves out of it, even pulling some of it out of the water. It engulfed his hands and forearms, and he felt energized. It was a great feeling, as water always gave him.
Palmer had become a really good friend in a short time. The two got along, and one could even venture to label them best friends. They were as close to it as possible. They seemed to be able to tell each other everything. Well, almost everything. As close as they were, Andrew had yet to express some of his deepest insecurities. Including his sexuality. They had discussed, however, his "fatal flaw" of sorts. She had even tried to help him, but no progress had made as of yet. That was part of the reason he had asked her to meet him here. To help him in the way of his problems. If anyone could, she would.
