Ever since the arrival, Percy had been in complete and utter awe at the magnificence of the Argo II. It was probably the single most impressive display of the Hephaestus Cabin he had ever seen. It even had the last impressive work of theirs on the front, the metal dragon. Every time he saw it, Percy's jaw just dropped. Apparently, a new recruit to the cabin, Leo Valdez, had designed it, or something along those lines, from what he heard. The praetor had yet to meet this kid, but he really wanted to. Especially because he was one of the seven. Whatever it was about this kid, he had clearly proven himself worthy of the honor.
For the first time, Percy had decided to actually board the ship and analyze it in detail. Analyze being a loose word. More like enjoy the details up close. It was almost painful, because everything about this ship reminded him of Camp Half-Blood, a place he probably wouldn't see again. It also brought up memories of Charles Beckendorf. Beckendorf had been one of the bravest men he knew, and his memory would never fade. "Your cabin has done you well, Beckendorf." He was, as far as he knew, alone, but even if he wasn't, he felt no shame in paying respect to the hero.
Along with all of the familiar faces this ship had brought, Percy had begun to see plenty of new faces mixed with Half-Blood. But he was still too caught up in enjoying the friends he had been missing the past eight months. Everyone he had been close with was now within reach, but with everything else going on, personal time was something he rarely was afforded. That was probably one of the leading reasons for his visit to the Argo II today. In hopes that he could run into an old friend, and just catch up, enjoy time together. He needed something to wind him down right now, and old friends outside the stress of Camp Jupiter and the Prophecy of Seven was just what he needed.

SHE'S A REBEL SHE'S A SAINT SHE'S THE SALT OF THE EARTH AND SHE'S DANGEROUS SHE'SA REBEL VIGILANTE MISSING LINK ON THE BRINK OF DESTRUCTION Thalia hated the Argo II. Everyone thought that it was an amazing piece of work, that it had been amazingly crafted and that it showed just what the Hephaestus cabin could do. Thalia thought it was beautiful, until it had gotten into the air. Then, she had hated it with everything she had in her. She remembered being aboard being one of the few, very rare times that she had every prayed to any god that was listening for anything. She was more the independent type, not relying on anyone for anything, and asking the gods for help was something that she didn't do, if only because she was Thalia. It was a lot more complicated than that, but she would never be able to explain it. Asking for and/or accepting help had never been, wasn't, and would never be her thing. She'd always struggle. But when the wooden monstrosity had been in the air, she'd closed her eyes to try and get rid of the dizziness and prayed not to die on board, because really, she'd haunt Valdez if he lived, just because this was all his fault, since he'd been the one in charge.
Now that it was docked, and solidly not moving whatsoever, Thalia didn't hold so much against it. It was where the Greeks were staying, with their living quarters and dining area on board. Camp Jupiter had no where near enough room to hold everyone from both camps. The Greeks, however, had prepared for this. Thalia was glad that Leo could take direction - even though the Hephaestus cabin had built the ship, the Athena cabin had assisted in making it as "perfect" as it was. She was on the main deck, about to disembark. She was planning to go get some training done, maybe go track down Annabeth. She hadn't seen the girl since they'd talked about Percy, and the other person at camp that she'd been shocked to see. She knew the girl was busy, and that she probably wouldn't accept assistance from the Hunter, but Thalia understood that - she guessed. The girl was almost as independent and stubborn as she was - close, but not close enough. Thalia tugged at the bottom of one brain, her hair separated into two to keep it out of her way, circlet ever present atop her head, when she spotted - "Percy?" She raised an eyebrow. "Long time no see. You know Annabeth's not on board, right, Seaweed Brain?"

Percy heard a voice behind him, a familiar one that he missed. Turning, he saw his cousin, Thalia. The demigod's smile grew, and he ran over to hug her. His relationship with Thalia was an interesting one. She was his first "cousin" that he met, and one of his best friends. His smile turned into a laugh and smirk. "Just because she's my girlfriend doesn't mean everything I do revolves around her." He chuckled, then finished, "But don't tell her I said that." The daughter of Zeus had had an interesting and rough life already, even though she only looked fifteen. They had been through so much together, it was unbelievable to think of where they had been literally two years ago. That was when Thalia had pledged herself to Artemis and became a Hunter. Since then, they hadn't seen near as much of each other as he would've liked, but she had been there when it counted, and it was great to see her now.
"Fancy seeing you around here, though. Thought you'd be off chasing some monsters that need to go back down with your Hunters." She was the Lieutenant Hunter, and even though he was just teasing her, he was legitimately curious why she wasn't with the Hunters. He hadn't seen any around camp, but there were so many people around now that he very well could have just missed them. "How thankful we are to have you grace us with your presence, Thalia Grace." He had been pretty confident in himself for quite some time, but now that he was a Praetor of Camp Jupiter, his ego had escalated, and it showed. Especially around his Half-Blood friends. This was now basically his turf, where he was in charge of so much, and really one of the most important people. And no teenager would be strong enough to not let that kind of recognition go to his head.
Percy did feel a sense of depressed nostalgia on the airship though. It had a distinctively Greek feel, something he hadn't felt in a long time. But at the same time, it was so unfamiliar, because he hadn't been around during it's creation, nor had any part in it. It was as if the fact that his home and friends had made this without him meant that he wasn't as special to them anymore. The notion was kind of ridiculous, of course, but he couldn't shake the feeling.
"This thing...it's incredible. I can't even believe how great it looks, as well as functions...wait a second." His saddening thoughts left for a moment as he realized. His smirk crossed his face again and grew. "Thalia Thalia Thalia, how was the trip here? I would think a daughter of Zeus would have loved the air travel." They had been through enough to know that Thalia had a fear of flying and heights. It made him chuckle always, a child of the God of the Skies being afraid of his domain, and as much as she teased him, this was something he wouldn't let go of. "This seems even more nerve wracking than the Sun Chariot, wouldn't you think?" He stuck his tongue out, making it clear that his teasing wasn't malicious, but completely playful.
