ANYTHING ELSE: Octavian is an ambitious, power-hungry bitch dude who will likely do anything to get what he wants. He's rather rude and pesky toward people he dislikes, and a big-mouth. He loves attention, especially when it involves getting others to do his bidding. He loves to control things, and be seen as the good guy whom everyone admires. Oct's got a way with words, and is very tricky and cunning in the way he says (or implies things). He is very judgmental, and absolutely thinks negatively toward Greeks. In the end he's not really a friendly sort- and is just a bully when it comes to stealing other's glory and putting them down to make him seem better. One person he really disproves of is Percy Jackson- because let's face it- he's way better than some augur. =P

Highly annoying and disrespectful- this guy's barely got a care for anyone but himself most of the time. He's got a deep passion to keep Camp Jupiter safe however- and seems to strive for the gods approval and praise. He also has a knack for immortality it seems- having said to Mars (ares) that it'd be pretty awesome if everyone in the world could never die. That my friend makes you a stupid idiot as well! He's pretty foolish and seems to think about the power and fame than the bad consequences. He's also got a mysterious, and daresay dark wit about him that can intimidate some. Oh, and he is TOTALLY obsessed with stuffed animals, prophecies (and the books with prophecies), and Roman ways. That's why he has such a deep dislike for the Greeks.

HISTORY:
Octavian is a legacy of the Roman god Apollo, and literally grew up in Camp Jupiter- in the city New Rome within the camp itself. His father was a son of Apollo, and so he inherited some special ability that gives him the ability to read the will of the gods by slashing the guts- i mean stuffing, of stuffed animals. It's sort of wacky if you think about it.

Like most legacies (or actual demigods), Octavian was brought to the Wolf House by his parents, there he had to be seen as worthy by Lupa the wolf goddess. She deemed him as such, and worked him hard for the Roman life, and on he went to Camp Jupiter. He lived year-round at the camp, and increasingly worked up a name for himself.

As he got older, he read up on a lot of Roman stuff, old prophecy things- omen books, the works. He wanted to be the best he could be in his unique field- and as the years went by, he became the camp's official Augur. He's not a phony by any means, he does have the gift- but let's just say, some of the things he says you shouldn't take lightly. He lies of course about some omens, to either make things go his way or to control the camp (in his own power-hungry way).

He has a bad standing with Reyna- and forever hates that she's all higher up than him, and attempts to steal her spot-light, or do her job better than she could ever do. He also dislikes Jason, whom he was glad to be rid of when he disappeared, and waited for months for the new praetor to be named. Then Percy came along, and well he just really got pissed when he got made the next praetor. This is the part where he says 'that bitch!' like Ron did in AVPM, because that just fits him so hard.

Anyway, Octavian is more than just a wacky stuffed animal murderer- he's done some baddd things in his life, and well he's just not the sort of person you'd want to have tea with okay? He's got it in for PJ and will do anything to mess up his reputation and get his rightful spot as the praetor. Octavian also seems to know Hazel Levesque secret about raising big bad Polybotes from the dead inthe 1920s and a certain curse of hers, probably because he read it in the stuffing or something- but he's going to blackmail her any chance he gets. He's also fairly certain the Greeks are still the sworn enemies here, and is not happy at all about the fact they're staying at Camp Jupiter.
