I GUESS I'LL MAKE
MY OWN WAY
NAME: Kane Michael Hunter
NICKNAME: N/A
GENDER: Male
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
AGE: Twenty
BIRTHDAY: December 3rd
SPECIES: demigod; greek
IT'S A CIRCLE
A MEAN CYCLE
HEIGHT: 6'1"
WEIGHT: 176 lbs.
DISTIGUISHING FEATURES: He has his mothers gray-ish eyes. There is a deep, rather noticeable scar across his left shoulder blade from a car accident he got into when he was little.
PLAYBY: Chris Zylka
I CAN'T EXCITE YOU
ANYMORE
LIKES: Being correct, food, running, most sports (he likes playing, but he would rather make up the plays and strategies), mysteries, being around people, late nights
DISLIKES: Huge crowds, early mornings, being incorrect, sand, arguing (though he will stand up for himself and argue back), romans (for the most part), sadness
STRENGTHS: Memorization, logical thinker (just doesn't use logic all of the time in his own life), can talk his way out of most things
WEAKNESSES: Temperamental, indecisive, building things (like weapons, legos, furniture, etc. he can think through the process, just can't build it himself), high expectations
DREAMS: Perfection-- though he knows in the back of his mind that it is "impossible" he believes that there is no reason not to strive to be perfect.
FEARS: Death, messing up and someone else paying for it, being caught off guard by a monster or something of that nature
FATAL FLAW: Emotion -- Not like "cry-baby" emotional but his actions are usually based off of emotion. For example he may do something because he cares too much, is angry, regrets something, feels guilty, etc.
PREFERED WEAPON: Sword
ABILITIES: Kane has the ability to come up with excellent plans and strategies for almost anything off of the top of his head. They aren't always perfect... but they usually look good on paper.
ANYTHING ELSE:
* PERFECTIONIST: This is something that most people will mention after meeting Kane. He just wants to do things right. Granted, this hope for perfection isn't in your face. Kane tends to keep his thoughts and dreams of being perfect at as many things as possible to himself. After knowing Kane for a while people would pick up on this even more. If he could have a second fatal flaw it would be along the lines of being a perfectionist.
* PROTECTIVE: Naturally, Kane is protective over those he cares about and sometimes even people he may not know. That is just the way he has always been. Protect at any cost.
* STUBBORN: In everything he does, Kane is a stubborn person. He rarely gives up on something, rarely accepts an answer that differs from his own, and refuses to change his thoughts (for the most part).
* ARGUMENTATIVE: Kane is usually a chill person. It is a rare moment when he will come across an enemy, but when it does happen he will stand up for himself. Kane has a sharp tongue. He is quick whited and rather sarcastic.
* BRAVE: This goes back to the protective category in some ways. Kane is afraid of things, there is no doubt about it, but he tends to push aside his fear and work off of how he feels/would feel if he weren't afraid. Make sense?
* LOGICAL: Kane thinks things through! He weighs the pros and cons before acting... sometimes. This really comes in for training aspects and back when he was in school.
* TEMPERAMENTAL: His temperament is something he gets from his mortal father. Kane can go from calm and collected to a loose rocket in seconds. All it takes is someone who knows how to push his buttons. This would be the reason why his fatal flaw is that he deals with things through emotion sometimes. Sure he may know that a certain thing is the logical way to go about something at times, but he often will throw away logic when it comes to harder decisions. He realizes his mistakes later, which doesn't help much. Obviously this is not like many of Athena's other children, but he takes after his father when it comes to this. Lets face it... he is like the man he was raised by.

None [except for other Athena children]

HISTORY:
Kane Hunter's life was never anything tragic, dramatic, unusual, or even that interesting for the most part. He was raised in a small town near Boston, Massachusetts by his father, Chris Hunter. They were one of the wealthier families in town, granted they were nothing special though. His dad had inherited most of the money from his parents who live out in Boston. Chris was a city planner around the country. He would decide where streets would go, where the important buildings would be, and where the best place to put houses to keep traffic at a minimum. Every once in a while he would help with the blue prints for a new building or something. Maybe that's why Athena was even the least bit interested in him twenty years ago.
Chris was gone on business for about five months out of the year. The rest of the time he stayed home and took care of his son. While Kane's father was away he had a nanny that would take him where ever he wanted when he wanted, no questions asked. But when Chris was home Kane became more like Chris' solider than a son. His dad wanted the best and to be the best, Kane wanted his father's approval.
Even from a young age Kane was able to figure things out. He taught himself to ride a bike, tie his shoes, work the microwave, almost everything. He didn't mind though because when it came time for middle school he was able to teach himself how to do math problems, science problems, and so on. He was on the football team but instead of playing, most of the time he would tell the coach what play to run and why. Usually he was spot on. Kane had a logical way of thinking about things that he had time to think about. Without time, he would go with his first instinct which, for the most part, was wrong.
By age fourteen, freshman year of high school, he was independent. His father was working more and more, but it didn't bother Kane. The only thing that bothered his was that there was nothing to do in this town. After two years of trying to convince Chris to pick up and move, the two moved away to the outskirts of New York City. The drive into the city was maybe fifteen minutes, and the place they lived now had so much more potential in Kane's eyes.
Sixteen now, a junior in high school, and Kane was still calling the shots on the football team, he had new friends, went out to parties, and had a normal life. His father was out on business but he was able to leave Kane to watch himself now. That's when things started getting weird.
People kept coming to the house, saying that his father sent them to check up on him. Later Kane found out that his father was over seas and had sent no one. This was scary for a sixteen year old kid. He spent a lot of nights at friend's houses during this time. At school, the office would call his up to the front office for check out.. but there was no one in his family to call him to get him out of school early. Kane was freaked out at this point, he didn't know what to do. Even at home he would get the feeling that someone was watching him. The police had bigger problems, telling him that he was probably just imagining it.. kids hear/see stuff when they are home alone all of the time.
It had been a month without talking to his father when Kane started to become worried. Usually they would take every morning before school, or at least once a week. But he had heard nothing. To this day he still doesn't know where his father is.
On his way to early morning football practice at four thirty in the morning something happened that would change his life forever. AS he was driving to school, a giant bull-looking-thing came out of no where and stepped in front of his car. Kane instantly slammed the breaks, his car skidding into the giant leg of the beast standing before him. The hood of the car folded like an accordion, an airbag came out of the steering wheel, hitting Kane in the face. Before her knew it the car was thrown against a tree, crushing the roof into the backseat of the car. He was driving a Ford Explorer that proved itself to be a tank. The car landed on it's side, passenger side to the ground. Blackout. Kane fell unconscious almost immediately. A normal person would have been dead by now, but he was still breathing. Not as well as before, but alive. Kane woke up shortly after the blackout. His eyes opened and he saw the glass of the windows shattered, the airbag had deflated, his seat belt was tearing from all of the thrashing about, and the car was right side up on the other side of the street, about a mile away from the tree it had hit. The front right tire was missing, and the metal was dented, but for some reason, Kane was still alive. The next thing he saw was the thing coming back at him, head on. From behind him something hit the monster turning it to dust. Blackout.
The next time Kane woke up was about a week later at Camp Half Blood. Someone in town, apparently his neighbor that he never knew that personally, had been keeping an eye on him and brought him back to this camp for safety. He was almost seventeen when this whole thing happened.
Kane found out about his history, his mother, and what this place was about. To him it was pretty cool. He noticed that in the Athena cabin everyone had similar traits. Most even acted the same way. Over time he picked up some of the same personality traits, though he still had a lot of his own that made him unique.
Half Blood wasn't so bad. Kane found it kind of fun in a way. He stayed there for about three and a half years. before he was transferred to Camp Jupiter.
This new Roman camp is where he is forced to reside now is different for him, for all of the Greeks who had to move. Adapting to their lifestyle after being a Greek for nearly four years will be a challenge for him. It seems that a lot of his old personality traits have come back with the move, but that's nothing that won't go away in time. This new way of living will be... different. That's for sure.
