[/blockquote]reyna drake first arrived at camp jupiter with little but the clothes on her back and a ring that had been a gift from her mother, bellona, the goddess of war. it was jason grace who had stood for her, and accepted her into the camp, into his cohort. she proved herself in battle, and was raised to praetorship about the same time her sister hylla became queen of the amazons. it would all have been perfect, really, if not for the fact that jason disappeared soon after, leaving reyn to try manage on her own. and, yeah, thats the worst thing he could have possibly done because baby girl has abandonment issues, in a nutshell. she finds it hard to trust people - well, first her dad left her, then her sister, then solo, who had been one of the few to first accept her at camp jupiter, then jason, and now percy has his old friends back and she doesn't even know where that puts her - and she's basically sick of it. basically sick of having to do everything by herself, of having to be strong for everyone else when inside she has no idea if she's doing the right thing. see, percy has thalia and annabeth, jason has piper and leo, but what does she have? octavian, that's who. she's basically alone at the top because she has to be strong because she's the praetor and all that awesome stuff, but she's lonely and confused and too damned stubborn to ask for help, not that she knows who to ask it from. that's reyna in a nutshell.
the friends
friends. hmm. she'd have varying levels of these, i supose, but she's not the kind of girl to hang-out and dish the latest gossip and all that girly stuff. her friends have to be honest above all else, all that roman stuff really - dependable, honorable, etc. she's not prejudiced towards anyone, but she finds it hard to trust and any friendships would have to be those that have lasted a while - she won't immediately be all friendly with someone, won't even know how. the people who are her true friends would know her, get that she's basically an insecure little girl - and as you would imagine, she doesn't have many of those. so i need confidantes, people who are able to get her to laugh - which she doesn't do often - and maybe training partners? up to you, really!
the lovers
not too many of these...maybe an ex or two? nothing too serious, though. flirtations would be one-sided, since she's tied to her duties and is crushing on jason to boot.
the enemies
she tries to be fair to everyone, but the girl is stubborn, arrogant, hot-tempered and can hold a grudge so i wouldn't think its too difficult to make an enemy out of her. at the same time, however, she's a little naive, a lot innocent - so a spiteful person, like, say, octavian, would be snarking at her and she knows he's playing at double-meanings in his insults but wouldn't know how to deal with it.
the 'ships

when percy got his memory and all his friends back reyn was all 'good for him.' but, at the same time, 'what about me?' percy would be wonderfully oblivious to them initially, then probably think they're absolutely ridiculous and almost make fun of her for it, until he realizes how seriously she takes it. after percy pacifies reyna's worries, they could go back to being great praetor's, organizing the camps, hopefully helping the schism between the romans and greeks!

when reyn first got to camp she said something about cass being a daughter of venus, meaning in looks, and cass was having a bad idea and basically blew up on her. they've been enemies since - and later, reyn finds out about cass's secret.

when reyn first got to camp she had immediately been taken under jason's wing, and lane got jealous. have been rivals/enemies since.
