It wasn't unusualy for Percy to find himself wandering into New Rome. There was much to observe, and appreciate. Now that he had his full memory back, he could full understand why it was so baffling to him initially. The fact that there were demigods, growing up, living here, being real people, was so amazing to him. For the Greeks, it seemed like very few demigods ever made it through their early years, either being attacked by monsters or otherwise. A whole community of demigods was fascinating to him. Plus, the lake was there.
Bodies of water were home for Percy. Of course, he had his mother back in New York with Paul, but outside of that, water was his preferred "place of living". He was able to submerge himself, remain completely dry, and breathe normally. He could manipulate the currents and everything else, and communicate with the animals. There was really no reason for why he didn't just stay in the ocean all the time. It was truly just his fierce loyalty to those he loved that kept him out of the lonely life underwater. And lately, there had been even more people and reasons to keep him afloat, to save the world.
Walking through New Rome, he knew exactly that his destination was the Lake. Approaching it, he noticed he wasn't the only one there, however. Seems like all the kids of Poseidon were alike, because up ahead, he saw one of his half-sisters, Lynette. They had quickly become close at Camp Half-Blood, sharing a parentage that so few nowadays did. "Hey Nette!" He yelled it, then began a quick jog. He was much better trained and experienced with his hydrokinesis, and wanted to have fun with her. While running, Percy manipulated a stream of water to tap Lynette on her shoulder. Once he got closer, he summoned a little wave to knock her over. "Miss me?"

It was wide knowledge that the Romans didn’t like the Greeks, and really, their sentiments were very much returned. There was no love lost between the two parties of demigods, and as such the Greeks generally kept to their Argo and away from the Roman campsite unless otherwise necessary. Lynette wasn’t exactly partial to the Romans either, but at the same time, the girl wasn’t one who showed grudges. Her Olympian relatives were more then enough proof that grudges didn’t fruit nice results, and thus Netta had actually tried to make friends. Granted, sometimes it felt like the girl was trying to talk to a wall, but she’s actually made enough progress to feel unthreatened as she wandered around the Roman campsite when she wanted to.
Today happened to be one of those times. As a daughter of Poseidon, she missed the water beyond belief. She had been at home in the Argo, one of the three in charge of maneuvering the ship due to their Poseidon gifts, but now that they had been moored for some time, she itched to go back to practicing her hydro kinesis. That however, cannot be done near the Greek ship. Although Lynette was fairly adept at the fluid gifts by her father, she wasn’t entirely sure of it yet. Percy had been helping her with it before he disappeared, and from then on Lynette pretty much abandoned it in favor of doing anything possible to get her half-brother back.
Now, it was back to the grinding vault since Percy was found. She didn’t want to disturb her brother though, knowing he was probably busy trying to handle both the Romans or the Greeks at the same time, so Lynette had set off by herself towards the Lake, watchful but easygoing at the same time to go and practice. The first thing she did when she got there however was take a dive and revel in water surrounding her. More then anything, Lynette was like a mermaid, and she loved swimming beyond belief. After a couple of minutes however, she finally emerged (completely dry of course) and perched herself at the edge of the lake, before concentrating on the gentle waves a result of the gentle breeze.
Her face scrunching as a result of concentrating, Lynette bit her lips as she splayed her palms out, manipulating a little miniature water storm n the middle of the lake, making it grow in size. A little grin formed as she manipulated another stream so that it became twin storms, but Lynette was so in to her work that she didn’t even hear Percy’s first greeting. It wasn’t till she felt the water tap on her shoulder, did Netta give a startled jump, her work crashing back in to the rest of the water. Turning around with an annoyed look, that annoyance washed away the moment she saw her half-brother. She didn’t notice however, and gave a little shocked gasp when the wave washed over her, and despite being dry, Lynette gave her brother a roll of her eyes. ”Not a chance, stranger. Did you miss me?” Lynette retorted with a cheeky grin, all whilst manipulating a stream of water to shoot directly at the running Percy.

His half-sister was already starting practicing her hydrokinesis, and missed his initial shout. Which, fortunately, ended up being better for his sneak attack. Her focus wasn't broken up until he sent the water at her, catching her completely by surprise. The demigod let out a loud laugh, as Lynette dropped her two storms and the wave passed over her. He was laughing so hard that when she sent her little storm at him, it wasn't until it was nearly surrounding him before he dispelled it. "Now, now, come on, of course you missed me." Percy waded toward his sister in the lake, enjoying the fluid around him, energizing him. "And obviously you could use my expertise in the storm creating, that little display was just depressing." He stuck his tongue out at her, quite clearly teasing her.
The day was the perfect blend of wonderfully bright sunshine and a near perfect temperature. Instinct told Percy that the two of them would probably end up saturating the sky a little bit by the end of the day. "It's been way too long, Nette. How are you?" His tone was still happy, but he spoke the words with notably less humor. Reconnecting with all of his old friends was an awkward situation for him. He didn't necessarily know how to react with any of them. Of course, he was glad to have them all back, but the Greek demigod couldn't help but feel conflicted with everything going on. It was almost as if, secretly, he believed the separation of the Romans and Greeks to be a much better alternative to their intermingling now.
"Well, I'm betting you've been missing our training sessions, huh?" Some of his fondest memories were in the bay next to Camp Half-Blood, and a large portion of them involved Lynette and their hydrokinesis practicing. He was definitely the teacher of the two of them, but both of them practicing together had improved some of his techniques. They had even started to develop some potentially incredible techniques between the two of them. It took a lot of focus, and a lot of synchronization. "Wanna give our tornado a shot?" A sinister smirk crossed his face, knowing that raising a storm like that in this lake couldn't possibly end well, but he wanted to try it anyway.

Lynette had always looked to her elder brother for guidance, and Percy had always been the one the daughter of Poseidon asked when her hydrokineses glitched when she used it. Granted, she loved the water, but playing with water and literally playing with water was two different things, and though she has the talent for it like all poseidon or neptune children, it'll take Lynette awhile yet before she can fully grasp the reins of her powers, as well as Percy can. As it does though, Netta loved working together with her brother, concocting up stuff most of the campers can't even deal with. Most of the time, they had to clean up their own mess, but Netta thought it well worth it.
Giving a good natured curse when Percy managed to dispell her wave so easily, she blatantly made as if she didn't wanna look at him, and then rolled his eyes. "Uh uh. The question is, did you miss me, big brother." she teasingly shot back with a grin, and stuck out a tongue at him. Good natured as she was, Netta's flaw was pride, and it pained her to admit that she wasn't all that well versed in her powers. She was lucky in hoping that Percy would understand that not denying was as good as an admittance he was going to get, before Netta would cut her heart out before admitting to a fault.
Sliding off the bank of the lake she sat on, Netta relished in the feel of the liquid on her creamy skin, before her stormy eyes slid to Percy with an amused glance. "As good as it can get trying to hunt for my missing older brother. But all's well now." she finished with a cheeky grin, even as her hands went to slap at the water surface, aiming a splash of liquid directly on Percy's face. Lynette wasn't dense, she sensed the awkwardness, but the girl would be damned before she let her own older brother be estranged from her. Besides, she adored having Percy back, and if the guy had any thoughts on it being strange, he better have another thought coming.
Pursing her lips at his next words, Netta shrugged, but in truth she had. Asher and Damian boded well from Lynette and Percy, but with Percy gone, Netta had lost the only sparring partner she ever had fun with and could give her proper lessons. Their lessons had not only been work, but fun as well, and in truth, the girl did miss her brother a whole lot. Again, she wouldn't admit it though, and merely shot Percy a grin. Matching his smirk with one of her own, she twirled her palms, and the water in the lake, followed her motions to build up a slow twister of water and vortex, quie literally cooking up a storm. "Sure, though don't blame me if I flood the camp." she teased good naturedly.
Again, she didn't deny the bad blood between Romans and Greeks, and if anything, she'd rather the two camps stayed separated. Because whilst Netta was fine with the Romans, she missed their home camp horribly, where tensions were normal between houses, and they didn't have to stay cooped up in the Argo all day. Still, she didn't have any intention to cause a riot between the camps, so she'll attempt to not and damage the site... too much.
