Basically Louie is a big ball of crazy. Okay so he usually the good kind of crazy. Being the son of the god of wine Louie has developed a liking for alcohol. It didn't help when he was younger that he grew up on a vineyard where wine was particularly abundant. Anyway since Louie is drunk practically all the time he is pretty damn fun, at least in his opinion. He is almost always in a good mood when he's drunk, super goofy, and doesn't like wearing clothes. If you want a good time you look for Louie, but if you need something serious done he is not your guy. There was only a few times that people approached him for some serious help and that was because he has a tendency to make crazy plans that somehow work, you only see him if your desperate.

However Louie is also another kind of crazy and thats the other reason he drinks so much. Not only is Dionysus the god of wine, but also the god of madness. At a young age Louie was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, sure he was medicated, but the side effects were never enjoyable. Instead alcohol seemed to be a good substitute. If you catch Louie sober there is a high chance he will be unstable. Sometimes you'll catch him like normal old louie cracking jokes and doing stupid things. Sometimes you'll catch him incredibly irritable and irrational. Basically he's always the extreme of one emotion, so drunk Louie is better than sober Louie, well at least in his opinion.

HISTORY:
Janie Sinclair was a twenty five year old with a degree in business when her father passed away leaving her behind to run the family vineyard and she wasn’t all too thrilled about it. When she went off to college she was planning on making her own way in the world, not get sucked into the family business. However since Janie’s father had passed away and put the vineyard in her charge she decided to run the place until she could sell it off. She had been looking for about four months when a prospective buyer knocked on the door; little did she know that the man at the door was Dionysus.

Instead of buying the vineyard Dionysus ended up convincing her to keep the vineyard and even swindled a date out of her. Janie didn’t even know that the man, Don, as he introduced himself as, was actually a god. She went on date after date with him and about two months later she was pregnant and the day after Louie was born Dionysus simply vanished leaving Janie alone with a vineyard to run and a baby boy to raise.

For some reason Janie kept the vineyard, maybe to keep a piece of the man that left her behind or maybe she just fell in love with the business. Either way Louie grew up and the vineyard was his playground. If someone were to go to the vineyard they were bound to find Louie toddling around somewhere with a sippy cup of grape juice in his hands and a stain somewhere on his clothes. Even as a kid he was full of energy, never able to stay focused for too long. When he was put into school he was soon diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD. In school he was a teacher’s worst nightmare and was constantly being kicked out of school after school.

When Louie was ten years old though was when he first started sneaking into the wine supply in the cellar. He always saw adults drinking the wine out of tall glasses and was always jealous because it looked and smelt so good. After he got a taste of it though he was hooked, of course his mom didn’t know so he was careful about sneaking some up to his room. At the age of eleven was when he started to go a bit downhill. He was drinking more and more each night, just imagine an eleven year old right on his way to being an alcoholic. At eleven was also when the mood swings started, his mom first thought he was being dramatic because she had started dating again.

However she soon realized it was something more when one night she caught him sneaking into the cellar, when she confronted him Louie went into a rage and smashed about half of the bottles in the cellar. After that Louie was sent to a “special” school for kids with problems. He was only there for a month when a monster attacked and he was kicked out of the school because he was “too volatile.” After that he was sent to more and more “special” schools where he got introduced to more than just wine. At the age of thirteen Louie was already a drunk, finding that alcohol was way better than those pills he started to hide. Also at the age of thirteen he made friends with a strange guy named Bo who turned out to be a centaur.

One day he was hanging out with Bo when the crazy teacher that always gave Louie a hard time called him over, probably because Louie was drunk. However it turned out to be another monster. Now Louie was told that the monsters were just hallucinations whenever he tried to explain himself or that he was just trying to make excuses. This time was different, really different because just as the crazy teacher turned into some raging monster Bo comes jumping out of nowhere with a stick and with no pants. To make a long story short Bo and Louie got away from the monster and Bo took Louie to Camp Half Blood.

At Camp Half Blood Louie was claimed not in the traditional way, seeing as his father was the director of the camp Dionysus added casually during the bonfire that the new kid was his son, if you weren’t listening you probably would have missed it. At the time though there weren’t cabins for minor gods, so Louie staid in the Hermes cabin. At Camp Louie didn’t drop his drinking habits. He didn’t like to fight and he didn’t really participate in the Camp activities. Louie was known as the guy you went to for a good time, not the guy to take into battle.

Even though most people knew Louie wasn’t great for battle they found use for him during the battle against Kronos and now they were dragging him off to the Roman Camp so he could fight again. Really Louie didn’t enjoy fighting but he went along with the rest of Camp. When they got to the Roman camp Louie knew he wasn’t going to fit in. The whole place was structured and scheduled and it reminded him of the institutions he was sent to, the “special” schools. Now he’s stuck at the Roman camp waiting until the whole war thing was over, at least he could still drink.
