✂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - There were only two things that Louie was absolutely certain about at this very moment. One, he was completely and totally lost and two, he was drunk. The first bit about him being lost was completely understandable, even if he was sober. He was in Camp Jupiter after all and Louie was from Camp Half Blood. So even if Louie had been sober he’d be lost anyway, however Louie is practically never sober so it just made things worse. Now the part about him being drunk… well that was normal Louie most of Camp Half Blood has just accepted the fact that he is almost in a constant state of drunken disorder, Camp Jupiter on the other hand Louie wasn’t so sure.
The Romans were way too rigid and structured for Louie’s liking. They reminded him of those special institution schools that his mom had sent him to because of his drinking problem and mood swings. Louie didn’t do schedules and order, so that basically made him an outcast to all these Romans. Honestly though he didn’t make a great first impression on the Romans either. When they landed he almost fell out of the boat and when Louie managed to get off the boat he approached the first camper he saw and told her that she was pretty and that he could show her all things beautiful in the world. It just so happened that the girl had a boyfriend and lets just say the Roman campers didn’t appreciate that.
Now when Louie had gotten off the boat this earlier during the day he had planned on… well okay he couldn’t remember what he had planned on doing because after he finished his bottle of Merlot for mid morning snack… or was it lunch? Either way after he finished off his bottle he meant to go into town to find something more to drink. However being drunk and directionally challenged Louie got lost and all he knew now was that he was in the Roman Camp… Well he hoped he was still in the Roman Camp.
After stumbling around a bit Louie remembered the flask in his pocket and pulled it out. He took a seat on some stairs to some big building and started to drink. When he was drunk Louie was as happy as can be, which was pretty obvious from the stupid grin on his face. Drunk Louie though was much much better than sober Louie, just ask some of the Greek demi-gods that have been around long enough to see the very rare occasion of Louie sober. Hell when Louie’s sober some of the campers actually hurry around to get him something to drink.
Louie didn’t know how much time had passed but by the time half the flask was gone he was laying on the steps, his shirt unbuttoned (for some reason while drunk Louie just doesn’t like clothing), and staring up at the clouds. He was pretty sure that the clouds were bouncing up and down, which intrigued him. For a second he thought one of the clouds had fallen and he sat up straight looked around confused because there was no evidence of cloud on the ground and slumped back on the stairs slightly confused. Seriously if someone that wasn’t from Camp Half Blood found Louie right now they probably would be very concerned that there was a mad man laying around wherever the hell he was on camp.

Damian walked through the streets of this new camp, wondering and thinking. Just when he was getting used to the layout of the old one, Damian just had to go and land himself in a new one. He was alone. Just like a lot of the time for this demigod. It wasn't like he didn't knew in theory what to do or say in social situations. It was just when it came to it, things just fell apart. "Story of my life," muttered Damian under his breathe. Maybe, just maybe this Camp Jupiter could be a new start for Damian. Who was he kidding? Himself, that's who. Any chances Damian got thrown his way would end up with the usual - anytime someone would be on their own with the demigod, he would mentally debating everything he wanted to say out of fear of rejection. Damian hated that about himself.
The son of Poseidon turned round a corner and headed up the streat ahead of him. Damian did not take any notice of any potiental living beings in front, off in a word of his. That was the thing about Damian - he really need to be in front of him to break his train of thought and bring him back into reality. A part of him accepted the fact that he was, let's be honest, a bit of loner but another wanted to be accepted or atleast feel as if he was. If he had one friend that could make him feel like that then Damian would be happy. The pensive teenager looked over at the principia. Was that its name? Principia? Atleast with the ancient greek, Damian found he was a bit of natural. Latin, however, did not have the same foundation of such skill. Damian's sight closed in on a boy lying down on the steps of the building.
"Should I go over? He doesn't look as if he's awake so I probably shouldn't bother him."
All of a sudden, this boy sat up and instantly Damian recognised him. Louie Sinclair, a son of Dionysus. Known for his constant state of drunkiness, Louie (although nothing personal) was not someone Damian wanted to be near for long. Had Louie seen him? Apparently not as the drunk seemed to be content returning to his original position of lying down. Damian thought to himself, "Should I help him back to the ship or leave him?"

✂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - Some people would argue that a constant state of drunkenness is bad for a person physically and mentally. Louie, however, seemed to be an exception. Physically, lets be honest here, Louie is perfectly in shape and his already unbuttoned shirt gave a sneak peak as to how in shape he really was. Mentally on the other hand Louie was more of a head case when he was sober and many would argue that drunken Louie is the best kind of Louie there is. Maybe self-medicating with alcohol wasn’t exactly the soundest option, but at least he was doing something to keep him from being a complete nut job.
Grant it thinking the clouds were bouncing wasn’t exactly a normal thought, at least this kind of crazy was fun and kind of harmless. While drunken Louie is just as fun as they get, at least that’s what he thinks. Other people might think he is stupid or annoying, but all Louie cares about is that he is having the time of his life. As he lay on the stairs of the principia Louie turned his head to look at the stairs he was lying on. Everything was so much more interesting while drunk, but stairs unfortunately weren’t so he turned his head the other way and saw someone walking by.
Sitting up as fast as a drunken guy could Louie looked just like a dog that had spotted something interesting and intriguing. Rolling over onto his stomach Louie clumsily pushed himself up into an upright position, took a gulp from his flask before putting it away, and then started to stumble his way over to the person. If this was a person from Camp Half Blood they would probably be more equipped to handle Louie, well if they had been at camp long enough otherwise they might as well be Roman. The Romans probably would stick him in a corner and find a Greek to bring him back to the ship.
As he got closer Louie wasn’t sure who the hell this person was, but he looked Greek. The guy was walking pretty fast or maybe Louie was just slow and stumbling a bit, either way Louie called Hey! Slow down! which sounded more like heyyyyyyyyyy shlow down. When he finally got to the guy Louie placed his hands on the guys shoulders (obviously personal space was a foreign concept to Louie when he was drunk). Hellooo there. Whatchya doooin? he asked with a stupid smile on his face and unknowingly using the poor guy as a way to keep him standing instead of falling on his ass.

Damian felt bad for leaving Louie on his own. He was always drunk and in that retrospect, sperated from even those who knew him. Now that Damian thought about it, he doubted whether or not anyone had seen him completely sober. Still this demigod was washing himself of the issue until the next time the cousins met. Or so he thought that was the case.
"Hey! Slow down."
Louie had evidently seen the attempt to pass him by undetected and before Damian knew it, he had the obstacle of a drunk in front of him. The demigod tried to make a side step but before he knew it, there was a hand on each shoulder. Damn. The chance of getting away just dramatic lowered itself. The boy in front of Damian seemed to be using the new found support as a way to source his balance and not fall over.
"Hellooo there. Whatchya doooin?"
The smell of alcohol reaked from Louie's mouth as a wave of this particular aroma accompanied the words he spoke. "Me? I'm just heading back to the ship. Maybe you should be thinking about doing something similiar," responded Damian, not wanting at all to seem rude. In a way, Damain thought that someone should restrict the amount of alcohol that Louie took in but in saying that his dad is Dionysus, God of Wine. Who knew how much alcohol Louie had stashed somewhere. Was there a law concerning demigods and the age of legal drinking? If there was, and it was similiar to that of the mortal society then chances were Louie was underaged. Not many children of the gods lived past their very early twenties. In the case of the Greek demigods anyway unlike the Romans who seemed to have many descendents. Legacies. That was what they were called. The descendents of Gods past the first generation. It did not matter what they named. Damian was mentally going off topic. He was not presented with the case of descendents but a drunk cousin.
Damian looked at Louie. He knew that this state of health was not good for anyone and so Louie had to be escorted back to the ship. That being said, alcohol seemed to have the effect of throwing reason and logic out the window.
"Come on. Let's get you back to the ship."

✂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - Usually when Louie was found wandering around aimlessly people tried to bring him back to wherever he was staying. When he was at Camp Half Blood first it was bring him to the Hermes cabin so he didn’t stumble around and cause havoc, then when they built the Dionysus cabin it was bring him back there. Now it was bring him back to the boat. Honestly Louie didn’t understand why they would bring him back to his cabin or the boat because that’s where he kept his supply of alcohol, if they wanted to sober him up and keep him from doing any damage they would drag him off somewhere that there wasn’t any alcohol.
This guy wanted to take Louie back to the ship too and going back to the ship was not on Louie’s agenda for the day. Okay, so there wasn’t an agenda for the day. All Louie really did was wander around until he found something to do or someone to do something with. Now that he had found someone there was no way he would go back to the ship, he was going to find something fun and stupid to do and somehow rope the person into doing what he wanted. Well it was more like they tagged along usually so he didn’t kill himself, but still it was fun right?
Nooo Louie said shaking his head vigorously. That… that is just no fun, no fun at all! Louie said, lacking volume control and slightly exceeding the necessary noise level. Looking around Louie tried to find something to do because he was certain he wouldn’t go back to the ship. Besides it was a little hard for someone to drag all six foot five inches of him while he was resisting. Maybe if he passed out they’d have an easier time getting him back to the boat. Who knows if this guy was lucky Louie would unwittingly end up back to this ship.
No ship lets… lets go to the duck! Louie suggested. Now that probably made no sense, but what he had meant to say was the aqueduct, he had seen it from the ship and has yet to make his way over there. Right now he was thinking it looked like a great place to jump off of into the river. Really it wasn’t a good idea at all though, seeing as jumping off of a tall structure into a body of water while intoxicated tended to not end well for anybody. So we goin? Yes? Perfects! Louie said before slinging his arm over the guys shoulder and starting to walk off to the direction he thought the aqueduct was in.

By this point, it is fair to say that Damian is uncomfortable. He wouldn't have minded if he were drunk but that would only happen once in a blue moon. Atleast if he were, then Damian would be having fun and then forgetting by the time he wakes up with a hangover. If only Louie would just go back to the ship then any number of people could take care of him. Damain did care about the demigod, honestly he did but he just didn't know how to handle a drunk. Why would he? He is only fifteen for goodness sake. Not twenty-one. The only thing for him to do is get Louie back to the ship and if not that far, then find another demigod who would help.
"Nooo. That . . . that is just no fun, no fun at all!"
Of course. Why would he want to go back? He was drunk and so had no reason or logic. The same could be said about volume control but that wasn't the point. He just needed incentive that's all. Damian thought for a second. What could a drunk possibly want? Drink. "Oh, come on. Let's-- let's head back to the ship. There's--" Before the all important trap could be set, Damian was cut off:
"No ship lets . . . lets go to the duck!"
Did he just 'duck'? "What? What duck? This was not going to be an easy job. Damian accepted that mentally now so that he could refer back to it in the future. It obviously didn't matter what Louie meant for they were moving on:
"So we goin? Yes? Perfects!"
With an arm around his shoulder, Damain didn't know what to think as he was being led to whatever Louie meant by 'duck'. This demigod knew it wasn't in connection to any bird.

✂ - - - - - - - - - - - - - The reasoning for going back to the ship really was simple. Why would Louie want to go back to a place where he has basically already explored most of the options of fun on there? Plus Camp Jupiter was a whole new place where he could party and do stupid fun reckless activities. On the boat with all of his fellow Greek demi-gods they mostly knew how to handle him and somewhat contain him, but the Roman’s didn’t. Most just stayed away because they didn’t want to deal with him on the Roman Camp, so Louie knew he could probably get away with much more if he was left to roam New Rome.
Bro you crazy! Louie exclaimed shaking his head when the guy asked him what duck. Seriously Louie wasn’t going to see a duck, why would he want to see a duck? Well maybe if the duck led him to a magical land of alcohol then sure he’d go see that duck, but as far as Louie knew there was no such duck. Why the hecks would I wanna see a duck? Louie still didn’t seem to understand that he was the one that said lets go to the duck. In mind he was pretty certain he had said lets go to the aqueduct.
When the kid didn’t argue about going to the aqueduct Louie took that as willingness to go with him. Okay so even if he had protested Louie would still have taken it as he wanted to go to the aqueduct anyway, but that wasn’t the point here was it? The point was that Louie now had someone to go hang out with him and probably keep him from drowning if he fell off the aqueduct into the water. Little did Louie know that he probably had picked the person to keep him from drowning pretty well, seeing as the kid was a son of Poseidon.
Sooooo whats yer name kid? Louie asked as he almost fell flat on his face over his own foot. I’m Loooouiee, son of the dinosaur! Louie told him, not even able to say his own father’s name. It would probably be safe to say that it was lucky that he even remembered his own name right now. This was really going to be interesting.
